Taking a delve into the world of photograms has been both fun and interesting, bellow are a collection of links, pics and other influences I used in producing my own photograms.

for those  that may not know heres a wikipedia definition of a photogram

-A photogram is a photographic image made without a camera by placing objects directly onto the surface of a photo-sensitive material such as  photographic paper and then exposing it to light. The result is a negative shadow image varying in tone, depending on the transparency of the  objects used. Areas of the paper that have received no light appear white; those exposed through transparent or semi-transparent objects appear grey.

To anyone wishing to do their own research these are the artists i first looked into. – this guys is my favorite producer of photograms deviation/27990095/ – GENIUS

Having looked in detail into photograms i started to develop a style, i began looking through images of both my own and some from flickr that i believed would be interesting to contact print into photograms. The process of doing this was quite easy, i took an image into photoshop and turned it to black and white and then invert it,  createing a negative image. This process has one particular perk, being that in one session after working out the best exposure time it will not change from image to image, although burning and doging still are good to use.
